How we handle your song

Your rights, your song

Only bring music you own or have permission to use, whether you upload a file or paste a link. You are responsible for the rights in every song you bring, and for any claim that comes from it. You confirm this with one tick before your first song; what it means is on Copyright and your rights.

What we do with it

We use your audio for one thing: taking the drums out and giving the result back to you. We don't publish it, we don't share it with other users, and we don't use it to train AI models.

If you paste a YouTube link, we fetch the audio from that video and treat it exactly like an upload.

How long we keep it

The file you upload is deleted within 2 hours. The two tracks we make are deleted within 6 hours, and the links to them stop working at the same time. Nothing is stored in an account, because there are no accounts.

If a rights holder objects

If a rights holder asks us to stop processing a song, we stop. Write to support@upbeat.studio with the song and the rights you hold.

Fair use of the tool

The tool is free, with a limit on songs per person per day so it stays quick for everyone. Scripts and bulk use are not allowed. We can pause the tool, or the YouTube option, at any time.
