WHAT IS DRUM COACH?

Drum Coach is a drum practice app for iOS and Android. It builds a daily practice plan from your goals, your available time and your setup, then guides you through exercises for rudiments, grooves and fills on a kit, a practice pad or your lap. It scores what you play only when an electronic kit is connected over MIDI, a beta feature for exercises and practice sessions. On an acoustic kit or a pad it guides you, but it does not grade you.

No. You can practice on an acoustic kit, an electronic kit, a practice pad or your lap. Tell the app what you have and the plan fits it.

Only with an electronic kit connected over MIDI (USB or Bluetooth). That feature is in beta and scores exercises and practice sessions, not songs yet. The microphone only records your practice so you can listen back; it does not score it. So on an acoustic kit or a pad Drum Coach guides you but does not grade you.

Yes. After each exercise you rate how it felt, and the next one gets easier or harder. It also follows your tempo when you speed up or slow down.
