How to connect

  1. Plug your Android phone into this computer with a USB data cable, not a charge-only one.
  2. Set the phone's USB mode to MIDI. On most phones it is in the USB notification. On Xiaomi, set it once in Developer options, Default USB configuration, MIDI.
  3. Open this page in Chrome or Edge and allow MIDI when the browser asks.
  4. In Drum Coach, open the e-drums connect screen and pick Android USB Peripheral Port.
  5. Press G. The snare lights up here and in the app.

Tips

  • Keys: B kick, G or H snare, T tom 1, Y tom 2, U floor tom, V or N hi-hat, F or J ride, R or I crash. You can also click the drums.
  • Turn off Hear my hits in the app while sound is on here, or you hear each hit twice.
  • Use the computer's speakers or wired headphones. Bluetooth headphones add a delay.
  • Unplugged the phone? Plug it back in with USB set to MIDI and keep playing. No reload needed.
  • iPhone is not supported yet.
