COMPATIBLE E-DRUMS
Drum Coach e-drums (beta) works with kits that send MIDI over USB — that covers most modules on the market. Bluetooth MIDI is mainly Roland (TD-07, TD-17, TD-27 and similar). 5-pin DIN works with a USB-MIDI adapter. The catalog below is our current reference for paths and flags. If your kit isn't listed but has USB MIDI, try Connect e-drums anyway.

Roland — V-Drums
Only major brand shipping bidirectional Bluetooth MIDI on multiple current modules. Default GM-compatible note map (kick=36, snare=38, etc.) is well documented and consistent across modules.

Yamaha — DTX
All Yamaha DTX Bluetooth is audio-IN only (play-along streaming). No Bluetooth MIDI on any current DTX module. Wired MIDI works universally.

Alesis — Nitro / Strike / Strata / Surge / Command / Crimson
All Alesis Bluetooth is audio-IN only (music streaming). USB carries MIDI on all current kits. The 'Nitro Max' and 'Nitro Pro' market Bluetooth heavily but it's specifically Bluetooth audio for play-along, NOT Bluetooth MIDI.
